Ruth Ann Page, President

Ruth Ann Page founded Porter-Page and Company Insurance and Financial Services in Aliso Viejo, California in 2000.  With more than 25 years of financial planning experience, Ms. Page creatively designs cost-effective client-specific small business employee benefit programs including group health, dental, life insurance and retirement plans.

Prior to forming Porter-Page, Ms. Page assisted several large banks in developing business services groups incorporating investments and insurance into the business banking focus.  Throughout her career she has been highly regarded and recognized for her knowledge and ability to help business owners, large and small, establish retirement and benefit programs that are both cost effective and easy to maintain.   

In addition to her professional responsibilities, she is an award winning baker and watercolor painter. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA and was a Junior’s tennis coach for the USTA.  Ms. Page has also written a financial news and advice column published in local newspapers and magazines.  


Andrew Bender, Chief Information Officer

Andy P. Bender is the director of Information Systems and Technology at Porter, Page and Company. Andy is responsible for all aspects of the information management infrastructure at PPC. 

During a career spanning almost 25 years, Andy has managed the development of data management applications using various hardware and software technologies, from MS-DOS-based "green-screen" systems to minicomputer-based "fourth-generation" language applications and business intelligence systems using Cognos's tools to browser-enabled distributed relational database systems using Oracle tools. Application domains have included reinsurance management, complex equipment maintenance management, hospital patient care, and semiconductor enterprise resource planning.  

Most recently, Andy was a leading partner with Sysmotive, in San Jose, CA. Prior to this role, he was a senior product manager at Oracle in Redwood Shores, CA.  

In his "spare time", Andy plays the piano, enjoys flying, cycling and fishing; and, is an accomplished bass-baritone. 


Kris Spence, Client Relationship Manager

Kris has been an influential part of the Porter-Page team since 2002. After graduating from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs), Kris came to work for Porter-Page as a customer service representative.

Kris showed great aptitude and was quickly promoted to her current position. Kris has enjoyed the unique work environment that Porter-Page offers and the skills and relationships that she has developed through her time with Porter-Page:  “My time with Porter-Page has been exceptional. Each day I have the opportunity to help others help others.” 

Kris also enjoys playing rugby, team tennis and spending time with her husband and two boys.
